π§ Founder Direction Β· V1 Β· September 2026
This page explains REMAP's growth engine β where new business actually comes from today, and where
it's heading. Current direction; for the operational demand-gen playbook, see the linked marketing
SOPs.
Growth today runs almost entirely on referral β trust-based introductions that arrive already
most of the way down the funnel. Outbound is a volume play being sharpened toward specific niches,
and workshops are an experiment, not yet a proven channel.
| Channel | Role right now |
|---|---|
| Referral | ~90% of the real work β the engine |
| Outbound | A volume play, being refined toward niche targeting |
| Workshops | Unproven top-of-funnel; being tested |
Referral does roughly 90% of the real work. These are trust-based introductions that land
already three-quarters of the way down the funnel β arriving as SQLs, straight into a discovery
call and close. (How referral partners are paid is covered in
Referral Partners.)
Outbound is explicitly still a volume play being refined. The direction is away from broad,
scattershot outbound and toward deliberately niche-targeted outreach β real estate and
construction are named example niches.
The reasoning rests on the price point: REMAP doesn't need a large client count to be a strong
business.
π‘ The client-count math: 100 clients would be an outstanding business; 50 a very good one;
20 an okay one. The near-term target of ~14 clients by the end of the current quarter sits
comfortably in "solid business" territory at this price point.
Because the numbers needed are modest, outbound can afford to be precise and niche rather than
broad β quality of targeting over sheer volume.
Workshops are not yet a proven channel β they're being tested properly, as a real experiment
rather than something run for its own sake.
The test design:
π‘ The point of charging isn't the ticket revenue β it's that a paid seat is a far stronger signal
of real demand than a free one.
A specific principle worth stating plainly: content published under the founder's name is a
protected trust asset.
Right now, the founder's personal name carries most of the trust the whole business borrows
against. So anything that looks like it's coming from them personally must genuinely reflect
them β not marketing copy dressed up in their voice.
Two rules follow:
