🪑 Seat Fit Assessment · BOS v1.7 · ⚪ To do
The UWC framework: every seat holder is assessed on three criteria: Understands it, Wants it, Capacity to deliver it.
This is a structural assessment, not a performance review.
This page explains the framework only. Individual UWC ratings and transition discussions are never recorded on the wiki. They are held in the Seat Transition Plan, which only the leadership team can access.
| Criterion | What "Yes" looks like | |
|---|---|---|
| U | Understands it | They instinctively understand the role, the outcomes it owns, and what good looks like. No extensive explanation needed. |
| W | Wants it | They genuinely want the responsibility. Not because they have to, but because they are motivated by it and choose it. |
| C | Capacity | They have the time, skills, knowledge and emotional capacity to perform the role at the level the business requires. |
Replaces EOS GWC (Gets it, Wants it, Capacity).
| Result | What it means |
|---|---|
| ✅ Yes on all three | Right person in the right seat |
| ⚠️ One No | A coaching conversation |
| ❌ Two or more Nos | The seat or the person needs to change |
Wrong seats are named and resolved, not tolerated.
Every seat holder on the Accountability Chart is assessed. The Tier 1 and Tier 2 seats in scope:
| Seat | Assessment status |
|---|---|
| Visionary / CEO | To be assessed |
| Integrator / COO | Seat to be filled (interim only) |
| Revenue & Partnerships Lead | To be assessed |
| Marketing & Demand Gen Lead | To be assessed |
| AI Architecture & Technology Lead | To be assessed |
| Delivery & Client Ops Lead | Seat to be filled |
| Finance & Legal Lead | To be assessed |
Each seat charter has a Understands / Wants / Capacity section describing what fit looks like for that seat. Use it as the reference when assessing.
